We took our "flight" at Orleans Loire Valley Airport to present an exhibition of some of the works of Lorenzo Padilla who made the trip from Matanzas for the occasion. He was accompanied by our representative in Cuba, Mrs Aniuska Lores Mondejar.
The opening of the event took place in the presence of Loiret President Marc Gaudet, Vice-Presidents Laurence Bellais and Jean-Pierre Gabelle, elected officials of the municipalities bordering the airport, Nelson Tamayo Caro, Deputy Ambassador of Cuba in France, and Nora Albertoris, consul of Cuba in France.
For some time, we want to anchor the Lorenzo Padilla Foundation in the territoriality and cultural landscape of Loiret. We are supported in this approach by Frédéric Néraud, vice-president of the Loiret department. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to Mr. Néraud and all his teams that we will have the privilege of discovering throughout the year 2020 for a succession of cultural and artistic stops in the department of Loiret. All these events will be supported and followed by the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in France, for our greatest joy and pride.
At the end of the exhibition, the Lorenzo Padilla Foundation will donate the exhibition easels to the "Expression des Loges" association, whose objective is to bring together all the people of Fay-aux-Loges who have an artistic activity (painting all techniques, drawing, framing, sculpture, floral art, lace, woodturning, marquetry ...).
